If you want to become the most popular political pundit in the world, Youtube is the most practical and cheap paradigm for haters to vent out their frustration against international political policies. Broaden your search and you may find an atheist questioning God’s decisions and blessings. The largest video streaming site is home to thousands of amateur and professional home-made videos from X-Box 360 repairs to past American Idol auditions – be wary of comments belonging to a bandwagon of moral and emotional decline.

Upon searching the past few months, I’ve stumbled upon a cover of one of Final Fantasy’s most nostalgic ending theme ever – Faye Wong’s Eyes on Me delivers a smooth message that goes way back into Final Fantasy VIII’s core gameplay and storyline. I believe that Squall and Rinoa’s first meeting in Balamb Garden was the fan that fueled the love flame – I don’t want to get caught up in another believable love story flashback.

So, what’s special about this video? As you can see from the upload, there’s a girl singing in-between the FMV scenes? Suddenly, she looks very familiar to me? Her name is Carmina Topacio, an aspiring music artist that has found a home inside Youtube’s amalgam of creative and pragmatic music connoisseurs. This 18-year-old female has shelled out different covers of songs while performing perky and quirky dance moves related to upbeat compositions.

Aside from singing Wong’s classic, her resemblance to Rinoa kept me thinking that a home-grown talent has brandished different personas and performances all throughout her own channel. Yup, she’s a Filipina and her authentic renditions connotes her as another foreign act trying to make it big like Marie Digby did on her career.

You can check out her personal blog site and post nice and friendly comments on her breakthrough. She’s definitely an avant garde and, she won’t probably mind if she can mime other Final Fantasy girls like Selphie or Garnet.
