The moment when Final Fantasy girls get their opportunity to showcase their skills – whether it’s picking up the slack or just taking care of the mobs, this mini fan-fiction determines how some of them remain important during crucial encounters of epic proportions.

The scenario:

Ramza Beoulve’s companions are all knocked out, Ramza and Agrias Oaks are the only warriors standing and what a dreary encounter to enlist the noble blood as a Black Mage. The Red Chocobos are fast approaching and two Red Goblins are ready to smack the two with swirling fists of random death. Time to put the Agrias’s Holy Sword to good use. The once important female crusader has lost her place in the storyline making her a mute sidekick supporting the likes of Thundergod Cid from harder battles. Ramza’s poised to strike the flightless beasts with a Thundaja but, surprisingly, Agrias has already annihilated the panel targets with her devastating Hallowed Bolt attack. That will teach players not to abandon my vow to smite enemies with Holy Sword abilities.

Smiting enemies since Chapter 2

The scenario:

Every time an enemy will appear, he/she is always ready to gobble them up and suck their abilities silly. I’m part of the never-ending attempt of Final Fantasy to create tribes far more inferior than humans. I look like Pokemon’s Lickitung and uses a spork to crush enemies with random and humiliating damage. As part of the Qu clan, I have assisted Zidane’s party and made it big during the intense fight we had against the rotating kaleidoscope of death, Ozma. Finally, someone with worst character physics than I am. My Frog Drop and Auto-Life abilities made us survive Air Garden’s optional battle and, as an added bonus, I also played a huge role in defeating the Earth Guardian Lich, can you believe that?

The scenario:

Vincent Valentine finally starred on his own Final Fantasy game – the first-ever first-person shooting game of our franchise developed a story between Chaos and DeepGround Soldiers; Sephiroth may have posthumously received his award for being Villain of All Time but, Weiss has another take on that. During one of Vincent’s fight with one of his henchmen, Rosso the Crimson, Chaos’s host and taciturn gunner almost got killed if it weren’t for my stealthy introduction. Yuffie Kisaragi, the bubbly Materia thief saved the long-hair “bishounen” from being sliced by Rosso’s blade, errr, gun thingy. I may have played that sneaky ninja-on-training in Crisis Core and nauseous Wutai warrior in Final Fantasy VII but, I’ve made it into the big leagues rescuing people out of nowhere. Hey, I’m still a sidekick!
