Every week, I’ll be posting all things related to Final Fantasy and this week, I would like to start out with a Crisis Core Aerith Gainsborough cosplayer. For me, Aerith depicts a more serene personality than her original character concept in Final Fantasy VII. A Deviant with a screen name of Remorsefulpromises posed as Aerith with a more complex and feminine portrayal of the Cesta remnant.

Her profile page clearly states that she’s into Final Fantasy and cosplay. Now that’s a cute and respectable geek for you. Here she is, posing as the coy Ancient. Her room is not part of a FF scenery, mind you.

Aerith is one of Final Fantasy’s more demure female characters – her stint as Midgar’s flower girl may have given her the tacit upbringing plus, there’s no real decent men out in Shinra’s HQ which she could date. For some reasons, Ms. Remorsefulpromises has the knack for dressing up as one of our favorite Final Fantasy girls. She’s also resource-savvy and I could see that her costumes were handily-crafted and, were not bought on some affiliate market source.
