Mystic Quest Legend Lands A New Home At Wii’s Virtual Console

Seems like retro gaming has found new appreciation heights as one of the most popular Final Fantasy spinoffs, Mystic Quest Legend, will be heading over to the Wii’s Virtual Console and obviously, Nintendo will legally proceed with the publishing process of this SNES classic.

Released in Europe as Mystic Quest Legend, this role-playing game for the SNES is a quasi-replica of Final Fantasy I though, the similarities of gameplay between Final Fantasy I and Mystic Quest takes shape in the turn-based action that completely allow players to choose a set of commands from a window panel and… perhaps explaining the both games’ bread and butter isn’t a good idea.

The game has been already approved by the Australian Classification Board. Expect to see a classic RPG that will surely make the Virtual Console busy for the next following months.

Wow, talk about nostalgia. . . I haven’t played that game for about 15 years!! Maybe once I finish my current quests I’ll have to go back and revisit that one.
