Giddy Over Final Fantasy Agito XIII
The highly-anticipated Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the PSP is still shrouded with mystery after its pre-announced direction for Sony’s handheld console. After the successful release of Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 and XBox 360, a lot of hype continues to surround this Final Fantasy game, which I believe, is the non-PSX title to ever hit the PlayStation Portable.
Agito is a sister flagship title of Final Fantasy XIII, and the game will have a different story of its own and will take place on another dimension. Hajime Tabata, the game’s director, is pushing for a North American release for September.
Final Fantasy Agito XIII will have gameplay elements similar to Crisis Core but, will make us of the ATB Battle System Gauge. A total of all twelve characters can be played with contrasting strengths and weaknesses. What’s cool about Agito is the character’s summons level-up as they fight (much like Final Fantasy VIII) though, the available summons for the game remain bleak and only Odin has appeared from leaked screenshots.

Much like previous Final Fantasy games, Agito will have a rather militaristic theme in it and much like the franchise’s predecessors, characters are embroiled in fighting a dominating force called Milites. No any added storyline subjects have been included though the game’s regions have been named: Rubrum, Anaze, and Kogai.
