Final Fantasy XIV Is Officially Out For XBox Live
Hiromichi Tanaka, Final Fantasy XIV’s head director, has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV will never be available for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live. There have been a lot of rumors floating about during E3 2009′s introduction of the game and, it was clear that Microsoft was not interested anymore of what Square Enix has come up with their second-ever MMO.
Microsoft is the primary culprit. The mega-corporation were pessimistic about the MMO did not join the hype which the PC and PS3 are currently enjoying.
According to Tanaka, Microsoft only allowed Final Fantasy XI on Xbox Live because it was in its infancy. Square Enix experimented with MMO patches and, it clicked with players looking for a fresh Final Fantasy experience with a dose of massive multiplayer action.
Microsoft and its Xbox 360 has refused to accept deals with Square Enix thus, Final Fantasy XIV is officially dismissed for Xbox Live, DEFINITELY.
