Final Fantasy XIV Deferred For The PS3

Technical problems triggered the developers of Final Fantasy XIV to move the official release date of the game to March 2011. The second Final Fantasy MMO has undergone successful beta tests for the PC however, things are looking quite shaky for the PS3 as Square Enix released this statement regarding the adjustment that Final Fantasy XIV is currently undergoing for the said console:

“We understand the wrath of players and developers are sorry because they did everything they could to have a simultaneous release date, but unfortunately they have encountered many technical problems on the development of the game for PS3. We strive to release the game as soon as possible.”

March 2011 is only a tentative date and the game’s director, Hiromichi Tanaka, is confident that they can expedite the issues and glitches regarding Final Fantasy XIV. This could go well for PS3 users who’re itching to party online and experience first-hand MMO developments in which Final Fantasy has explored over the past few years.

Tanaka was open to the public about the crisis of Final Fantasy XIV and he said, ““if possible, we would publish the game sooner, we would like to start as soon as possible the beta on PS3.
