Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Dark Details
Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Dark is shaping up as one of mobile gaming’s most watched out game and, despite of its similarities between Final Fantasy IV The After of having chipped chapters in between and
similar graphics of pixelated 2D sprites, the game has already been revealed by Square Enix in an effort to solidify Final Fantasy experience for Japanese keitai phones.
According to Famitsu, jobs are unlocked through chapter progressions; since players will be purchasing consequent chapters from Square Enix’s Mobile Platform, each job is simply packaged within the chapter bought. Square Enix has been keen of not fully-revealing about the game’s over-all detail but, the company has hinted that Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Dark will retain some of the elements that previous FF titles like Final Fantasy I, II, III and IV had like a storyline about good and evil, 2D characters and familiar monsters.
Thanks to Andriasang, the game’s character names were also unveiled and they are:
*Sol
A lively boy from the small country of Rukus. He’s childhood friends with Dianna. He dreams of becoming a soldier of the Avalon Empire and flying aboard an air ship.
* Dianna
A young girl with a winning spirit, also from Rukus. She’s childhood friends with Sol, although she’s so reliable and level-headed that she treats Sol like a kid. She’s awaiting the return of her older brother Aigis.
* Aigis
A Rukus warrior, Dianna’s older brother, and Sol’s teacher. He’s headed out on an expedition as the hero of Rukus.
* Grave
Childhood friend of Sol and Dianna. He’s kind and always looks after his two friends, although he and Sol compete with their sword skills.
Other similarities includes multiple scenarios which will become available every month for purchase so, upon finishing the main quest, players will have to wait for a month to continue the whole story.
According to Takashi Tikita, head producer of the game, scenarios will shift between a band of light warriors and a group of dark warriors.
Stale storyline eliminated, indeed.
