Lightning Gets An Itadaki Street Mobile Stint
Square Enix’s popular take of Monopoly gave birth to Itadaki Street and, the chibi-fied versions of our favorite Final Fantasy characters. Itadaki Street was a breather away from role-playing traditions and, with some of our leading Final Fantasy girls like Yuffie and Fran becoming the game’s centerpiece for attraction, this portable board game gives us more than collecting money and buying real estate properties.
Now, Itadaki Street finds a new home in mobile phones and its new name, Itadaki Street Mobile, gives our Final 
Fantasy XIII lead heroine, Lightning, a morphed appearance as she’s also unsafe from the cute palettes of Square Enix.
Just like Squall and Cloud, Lightning is portrayed as the tough girl who has serious problems about smiling, though I couldn’t imagine her wearing a smile with Yuffie on the background. There’s also a Moogle but, I doubt that these piggies can smile except when we’re going to talk about Final Fantasy XII Moogles – they look like overgrown rabbits with bonbons sticking on their furry scalp.
With all the innovations on mobile gaming as of late, expect to see more Final Fantasy for your newly-bought iPhones and other mobile devices dedicated for portable gaming.
